Beautiful & Useful offers discerning and design-conscious visitors the chance to buy from some of Britain’s best designer-makers in the fields of ceramics, wood, textiles and more. A boutique fair with around 24 invitation-only exhibitors.
Beautiful & Useful fairs are curated by writer and editor Natasha Goodfellow, formerly deputy editor of Homes & Antiques magazine and manager of GROW London, the contemporary garden fair, now part of the House & Garden Festival. Now in its fourth year, Beautiful & Useful is always a popular event.
About Sussex Prairies
Sussex Prairies is Britain’s largest and award winning prairie garden about 30 minutes north of Brighton, planted with over 50,000 plants in naturalistic drifts in the sinuous, spiralling beds. September, when the grasses and many of the flowers are at their peak, is one of the best times to visit. This outdoor event will see the exhibitors’ stands set in the garden, making this a spacious, stress-free and truly delightful day out. The garden is the brainchild of Paul and Pauline McBride, who previously worked with world-renowned Dutch landscape designer Piet Oudolf.
